Welcome to Winstone Glebe B&B
Winstone
Glebe is a small Georgian rectory offering guests charming and traditional
B&B Accommodation in the heart of the Cotswolds region of England.
Built in 1820 and set in 5 acres of gardens and paddocks, the house
overlooks a Saxon Church, in a Doomesday listed village. Guests
enjoy spectacular rural views in a quiet and peaceful setting. The
furnishings are traditional and there is always a log fire to welcome
guests as they arrive and are offered afternoon tea.
The
rooms are neatly adorned with classic furniture and floral fabrics,
giving them a very relaxed and romantic atmosphere. Next to the
drawing room is a spacious room where Susanna is furnishing a dolls
house.
In her youth Susanna ran the Cordon Bleu Restaurant and enjoys
cooking dinner for guests.
If you don't feel like driving, book a taxi from Brian's
Cabs who will pick you up at Kemble Railway Station, take you to
Winstone Glebe for supper, Bed & Breakfast and the next day
take you on a tour of the Cotswolds, regailing you with its history
and traditions.
Winstone Glebe B&B has featured in a number of magazine and
newspaper articles including the American publication "Conde
Nast Traveller", "The Sunday Telegraph", the July/August
issue of the German magazine 'Der Feinschmecker' and Japanese magazine 'Home Ideas'.
'Gardens Illustrated' April 2003 issue recommended staying at Winstone
Glebe when visiting the gardens at Miserden, Rodmarton and 0wlpen'.
