Country Guest House ideal for Garden Lovers

For garden lovers wishing to visit gardens in the Cotswolds such as Misarden, Rodmarton and Owlpen, Winstone Glebe is the ideal Guest House, located close to Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds in England.

Winstone Glebe's own garden comprises about 2 acres and was laid out by Dame Sylvia Crowe in the early l950’s. Susanna has tried to soften these rather austere bones with herbaceous borders and spring bulbs all of which are surrounded by low Cotswold stone walls giving an all round view of the surrounding countryside.

There is colour throughout the year starting with carpets of aconites at the end of January and finishing with Sedum ‘Autumn Joy‘ which is generally not cut down until December.

The Parsons daughter, Harriet, having studied at The Royal Botanical
Gardens at Kew for three years, is now introducing a more specialised approach to her mother's garden.
